Recruiter (Contracted)
Part Time Position

Brief outline of position:

Primary Responsibilities

•Develop and execute recruiting plans.

•Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.

•Coordinate and implement college and/or community recruiting initiatives.

•Work with hiring managers to determine current vacancy.

•Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.

•Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.

•Conduct regular follow-up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

•Research and recommend new sources for active and passive recruiting.

•Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

•Post openings internal and external including in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations and in other position appropriate venues.

•Utilize the internet for recruitment.

-Post positions to appropriate Internet sources.

-Utilize the company website to post and assist in recruiting.

-Research new ways of using the Internet for recruiting.

-Use social and professional networks to identify and source candidates.

•Administrative duties and recordkeeping.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and a minimum of 1-3 years experience recruiting for a non-profit organization. Experience in recruiting social service positions with credentialing requirements a plus.
