Lehigh House LTSR/Partial Hospital

Role and Responsibilities

Lehigh House LTSR is an integrated residential treatment program developed to provide behavioral health and residential services to Community Behavioral Health consumers with serious mental illness, requiring extended comprehensive behavioral health support services in a non-hospital, community-based residential setting.

Brief outline of position:

  1. Type accurate clinical evaluations, internal memos and all other materials as directed by the Associate Director.
  2. Maintain an accurate updated client information database.
  3. Prepare purchase request forms, order supplies for the unit and check requests as needed and approved by the Associate Director. Assist in the shopping for supplies including food.
  4. Prepare client charts for intake, registration, update and closure.
  5. Prepare, distribute and process staff time sheets, client accountabilities and other personnel matters as directed by the Associate Director.
  6. Track and disbursement of token/voucher quantity on hand. Petty cash, transpass, unit and client distribution of check requests
  7. Accurately file, photocopy, facsimile documents as well as distribute the mail.
  8. Answer telephone in an efficient, pleasant and courteous manner.
  9. Provide administrative/clerical assistance to the AII and Elderly programs when requested by the Associate Director.
  10. Coordinates the scheduling for all shifts including weekend shifts to ensure the appropriate coverage.
  11. Organizes Daily Duty Roster in conjunction with the Associate Director.
  12. Maintain the staff roster tracking any training needs and required clearances, physicals etc.
  13. Maintain and monitor monetary issues and reports: A) Petty Cash B) Spend Down Receipts C) CTT Receipts  D) Budget Books E) Rent F) Pharmacy co-Pays
  14. Other responsibilities to include maintaining referral packets, filing for commitments, maintaining annual updates and fire drill reports.
  15. Review HICSAS reports with the Associate Director.
  16. Maintain inventory for the office and clients rooms.
  17. Accurately file, photocopy, facsimile documents as well as distribute the mail.
  18. Answer telephone in an efficient, pleasant and courteous manner.
  19. Act as ADP backup for Associate Director.
  20. Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalency required. Accurate typing (45 wpm), and communication skills required.  Working knowledge with all aspects of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel required, knowledge of Access software a plus. Two years experience in an Administrative/Clerical capacity in a Mental Health setting preferred.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE (IF APPLICABLE)

Must have an acceptable PA criminal history, FBI clearance and Child Abuse clearance done prior to hire.

This job operates out of the Lehigh House LTSR location.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position, dayshift, Monday through Friday.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must have physical ability to: a) climb stairs; b) sit for prolong periods, carry heavy objects (up to 20lbs), kneel and bend.
