CIRC is a community engagement drop-in center with Nursing, Counseling, and Certified Peer Specialists to support the three different age groups with skill building and overall wellness.

Community Intervention Recovery Center (CIRC)
Our three, age grouped CIRC programs are community engagement centers with Nursing, Counseling, and Certified Peer Specialists to support skill building and promote overall wellness. Individuals work closely with staff to identify short-term and long-term goals necessary to build daily success and big-picture achievements. A plan is created to gain (and sometimes regain) these skills, which can include but are not limited to:
- On-Site Groups for Skill Building and Wellness
Illness Management and Recovery (IMR)
Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)
Budgeting and more
- Community Engagement
Practicing riding SEPTA and navigating the community
Learning about cultural awareness through trips such as visiting museums
Practicing socialization skills
- Transportation to and from the program provided daily
- Wellness and Dietary Health
Meal planning, shopping, cooking, and nutrition
- Lunch provided daily
- Educational and Vocational supports
- Outpatient Psychotherapy and Psychiatric Medication Management
Offered Monday through Friday from 8am to 2pm
- Assisting with Medical Management to support healthy practices
Scheduling and reminding individuals to maintain appointments
Enrollment Eligibility
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to tour programs before committing to enrollment
- Mental Illness Enrollment Diagnoses: Schizophrenia, Major Mood Disorder, Psychotic Disorder, Schizoaffective Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders and PTSD.
- Community Behavioral Health (CBH) eligibility is needed for acceptance
Enrollment Information
Referrals can be made by local hospitals, boarding homes, mental health residential providers, case managers, or completed as a self-referral.
