Catharine's House - CRR
Catharine's House is a 12-bed community residential rehabilitation program offering transitional housing and personalized support for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders. The program focuses on building life skills, fostering independence, and helping residents achieve long-term stability in a supportive, home-like environment.

Catharine House: Community Residential Rehabilitation Program (CRR)
Catharine House is a CRR 12 bed program offering transitional housing and comprehensive support for adults living with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) according to the DSM-V. The program provides a structured, recovery-oriented environment designed to promote independence and skill development. The setting is within a residential neighborhood, which encourages community integration.
Individuals work closely with a team consisting of trained Residential Counselors, a Program Manager, nursing services, and a Unit Psychiatrist. Working collaboratively, the team provides individualized guidance, rehabilitation services, and compassionate care within a supportive environment. Together, they help residents identify personal goals, enhance coping and interpersonal skills, and prepare for successful community living.

Enrollment Eligibility
- For individuals 18 years of age and over.
- Diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) according to the DSM-V
- Average stay is around two years
- Must be in need of housing
Enrollment Information
Referrals can be made by local hospitals, boarding homes, mental health residential providers, case managers, self-referrals, or may come through the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health (DBH). Referral can be found here.
