Theresa Bynum joined CATCH, Inc. as the Intellectual Disability Division Director in 2019. As
Division Director, Ms. Bynum handles the strategic direction, operations, and development of
CATCH’s Intellectual Disability services. Her leadership and team collaboration has resulted in
significant revenue growth and stability for participants. She recently received the Dedicated
Leadership Award of Excellence at the 2024 DBHIDS Points of Transformation Awards. Since
2020, she has also been an active member of the Philadelphia Employment 1st Steering
Committee, which advocates for competitive integrated employment for individuals with
disabilities in Pennsylvania.

Prior to CATCH, Ms. Bynum established herself as a dynamic visionary with over 27 years of
experience in Philadelphia’s human service industry, making a positive impact on behavioral
health and children and youth services. She is a transformational leader who focuses on team
building and fostering a positive work culture while demonstrating tireless efforts in advocacy for
individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Ms. Bynum holds a bachelor’s degree in child development from Temple University and a
Master of Science in Public Health Management and Administration from the Philadelphia
College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM).
