Full Time, Dayshift

Brief Outline of Duties:

  1. Carry a caseload of eight residents.
  2. Conduct various therapy groups.
  3. Conduct individual therapy and documentation throughout the week.
  4. Co-facilitate clinical meetings as directed.
  5. Assess prospective residents for admission and write report and recommendations.
  6. Visit residents when hospitalized and write reassessment and recommendations.
  7. Participate in therapeutic outings in community with activity therapist.
  8. Participate in monthly utilization review meetings.
  9. Weekly supervision with Associate Director.
  10. Participate in LTSR task force meetings with OMH.
  11. Attending weekly treatment team meetings.
  12. Consult with Associate Director, ICM(s), and resident family members regarding clinical and residential issues.
  13. Complete all documentation required by City, State, and program guidelines.
  14. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s Degree in one of the social sciences. Must have psychiatric experience including group therapy. Must have valid Driver’s license.
