Our Crisis Residence is an eight bed program designed for consumers who are homeless and have psychiatric or psychiatric/substance abuse issues.

Using the Mental Health Recovery Model, our highly trained staff treats mental health/substance abuse issues and facilitates the transfer of consumers to longer care transitional housing programs, such as Community Residential Programs and Progressive Demand Residences.

Our dedicated team of psychiatrists, physician assistant, nurses, therapists and counselors provide treatment in a professional and caring manner that helps consumers take their next steps toward independence.

Program Summary:

  • Age Group – 18 and over.
  • Who can refer – Our consumers are referred to us from the City of Philadelphia’s Community Behavioral Health, Hospitals, Delegates, City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health, and our own outreach initiative.
  • Eligibility – Consumers must be chronically homeless and have a DSM-V Diagnosis. We do treat consumers with a dual diagnosis.
  • Length of Treatment – 30 to 90 days
